Have questions about our courses?
Here are answers to common enquiries to help you decide and get started on your learning journey!
According to the refund policy You can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of booking the course. After 14 days and up to 25 days before the start of the course, you can cancel and are entitled to a refund of 75%. If you cancel 14 days or less before the start of the course, you are not entitled to a refund. If you book a course within 25 days of the start date, you are not entitled to a refund. If SAGE Academy cancels a course due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund for the course cost but not for other incurred expenses like travel or accommodation.
The confidentiality policy states that everyone working for the academy is under a legal duty to keep student personal information confidential. Personal information will only be shared with third parties if the student has given consent or in exceptional circumstances such as safeguarding concerns (where a referral to local authorities or police is needed) or if ordered by a court. Students should not post information or comments about other students on social media.
The Bullying & Harassment Policy states that if you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, you might consider addressing it informally if it's isolated or unintentional. For more serious concerns, deliberate actions, or repeated incidents, you should report the matter to Sukhdeep Kaeda, who will address it following SAGE Academy’s grievance and disciplinary procedures. All allegations are treated seriously.
According to the mobile phone policy, students’ unsanctioned use of mobile phones is prohibited on academy premises, including outdoor areas, to ensure safety and educational integrity. Phones brought for safety reasons must be switched off upon entering and only turned back on after leaving. Exceptions may be granted during specific lessons with teacher approval.
The Appeals Policy outlines that learners can appeal decisions related to exam results, malpractice findings, or procedural inconsistencies if it's alleged SAGE Academy didn't apply its procedures consistently or fairly. Appeals must generally be submitted within 10 days of the decision. The process involves an initial review by a reviewing manager, and if eligible, may progress to an independent investigation. If extenuating circumstances like ill health have affected your performance, you should contact the Student Welfare Manager before the Academic Council meeting.
